The Mecachrome Sablé-sur-Sarthe site specializes in aeroengines and premium automotive. It is the shop window for the Focus Factory and more generally for the group's digitalization (Industry 4.0). This automated, paperless factory can produce up to 200,000 turbine blades per year, and 30,000 cylinder heads, using an advanced industrial process: "one piece flow". It is also responsible for re-sharpening cutting tools and nanometric machining for defense industry products.
